Laparoscopic Nephrectomy, Ex-vivo Renal Artery Aneurysm Repair and Autotransplantation for Symptomatic Aneurysm with Thromboembolism

چکیده

Renal artery aneurysms involving segmental branches pose a technical challenge in repair. Both endovascular and open repair techniques have been described. This case illustrates the clinical presentation of patient with symptomatic renal aneurysm thromboembolic infarction managed laparoscopic nephrectomy, ex-vivo resection, reconstruction, autotransplantation.

Vascular Fluorescence Imaging Control for Complex Renal Artery Aneurysm Repair Using Laparoscopic Nephrectomy and Autotransplantation

Intraoperative fluorescent imaging using indocyanine green enables vascular surgeons to confirm the location and states of the reconstructed vessels during surgery. Complex renal artery aneurysm repair involving second order branch vessels has been performed with different techniques. We present a case of ex vivo repair and autotransplantation combining the advantages of minimally invasive surg...

Successful Ex-Vivo Repair of an Intrahilar Renal Artery Aneurysm with Autotransplantation

Renal artery aneurysm (RAA) is an unusual vascular disease. Few vascular surgeons have extensive experience with clinical management of RAA.Considerable confusion persists concerning its incidence, cause, and clinical importance. Due to lack of controlled clinical data, controversy also persists regarding the indication for treatment of asymptomatic RAA.We report the case of 46-year-old gentlem...

Laparoscopic Nephrectomy, Ex Vivo Partial Nephrectomy, and Autotransplantation for the Treatment of Complex Renal Masses

In the contemporary era of minimally invasive surgery, very few T1/T2 renal lesions are not amenable to nephron-sparing surgery. However, centrally located lesions continue to pose a clinical dilemma. We sought to describe our local experience with three cases of laparoscopic nephrectomy, ex vivo partial nephrectomy, and autotransplantation. Laparoscopic donor nephrectomy was performed followed...

Renal autotransplantation to treat renal artery aneurysm: case report.

CONTEXT Renal artery aneurysm (RAA) is uncommon and usually asymptomatic, but complications like rupture or thromboembolism of the aneurysm can occur, with consequent renal infarction. Most of the clinical findings are found incidentally through imaging examinations, in investigating other diseases. Renal autotransplantation (RAT) is an alternative treatment for complex RAA, with satisfactory r...

Ex vivo renal perfusion and autotransplantation in treatment of calculous disease or abdominal aortic aneurysm.

Two more indications are described for temporary ex vivo perfusion of kidneys with revascularization of these organs as auto grafts to orthotopic or heterotopic locations. One of the patients had staghorn calculi which were removed from a solitary kidney. The other patient had both kidneys autografted in the course of a surgical procedure on an extensive abdominal aortic aneurysm. The term "ben...
